STV-Rebecca and Christina Duet 'Beautiful'

Humble X Factor finalist Rebecca Ferguson channelled her inner diva tonight when she dueted with international superstar Christina Aguilera.

Rebecca was delighted to be working Christina Aguilera, whose early success with songs such as 
DirrtyThe Voice WithinCandy Man, andGenie in a Bottle, saw her become an international icon.  

A speechless Rebecca said after the performance: "I’m just made up. It was amazing.” And sexy diva Christina said thatshe is big fan of Rebecca's too, adding: “She is incredible; I saw a take of before coming here singing a Nina Simone song and I was blow away. She is a very unique talent.”

The lovely ladies sang one of Christina’s biggest hits, 
Beautiful, tonight and the pair certainly looked stunning.

This was one of the more contemporary numbers Rebecca has sung so far in the competition and will help her to prove to the judges that despite her love of classic songs and vintage fashion she has what it takes to be a cutting edge, relevant pop star.

Christina Aguilera will be hoping that tonight’s performance with kick-start her career after she has taken time out in recent years to have her son Max, with her now ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

Christina and Rebecca have both become known for their distinctive and powerful vocals and sense of style.

Rebecca has become something of a style icon over the past few weeks and top designers and jewellers have hinted that they would like to work with the young mum after the show using her model good looks.

Last month Rebecca took part in a glitzy fashion shoot for women’s magazine 
Grazia where she wore a stunning ruffled dress in pastel shades designed by Felicity Brown.

The designer explained that the dress "really suit[s] Rebecca’s personality, being girly soft, gentle but also flamboyant.”
